Save a Skill as a new version before a risky edit, or restore an older version if a change doesn't work out.

Save a version

  1. Edit a Skill and click Save. Choose Update current version to overwrite, or Save as new version to archive the current content first (optionally add a label).
Save skill changes dialog with Update current version and Save as new version options.

Browse and restore history

  1. Click View versions to open the history panel. Select a version to preview or diff it against the current or previous version.
Skill version history sidebar listing the live and an archived version.
  1. Click Restore this version, then choose the same save-mode options to apply it.

FAQ

What's the difference between Update current version and Save as new version?

Update current version overwrites the live Skill with no history. Save as new version archives the current content first, so you can restore it later.

Can I preview a version before restoring it?

Yes. Select it in the version sidebar and use the Preview or Diff tab to compare it against the current or previous version first.

Is there a limit on how many versions I keep?

Up to 100 historical versions are listed per Skill.
