Limit a trigger with customer segments
Updated September 21, 2026 · 1 min read
Add a segment condition so a trigger only continues for the accounts or messages that match.
Add a segment
- Open the trigger and click Add segment, or pick one of the example chips such as Paying customer or Trial user.

- Describe who or what should match in plain language.
FAQ
What happens to items that don't match a segment?
The trigger soft-skips that item — the worker does not continue into its main loop for it.
Can I use more than one segment?
Yes. Add as many as you need; all enabled segments on that trigger must match.
Are there example segments I can start from?
Yes — the panel offers example chips like Paying customer, Trial user, Enterprise account, and Churn-risk language you can add and edit.
