Create and revoke API tokens
Updated September 21, 2026 · 1 min read
Create a hashed API token in Account → API to pull your data, then revoke it any time.
Create a token
- Open Account → API and click Create token. Name it and confirm.

- Copy the secret now — it's shown once and never again.
Revoke a token
- Find the token in the list and click Revoke. Requests using it start failing immediately.

FAQ
Can I see a token's secret again after I close the dialog?
No. The plaintext secret is shown once at creation and never stored — only a hash is kept. If you lose it, revoke the token and create a new one.
What can a token do?
It authenticates requests to Zentesimal's API, such as exporting Voice of Customer conversations, based on the scopes it was created with.
What happens when I revoke a token?
Any request using that token starts failing right away. Revoking doesn't affect other tokens.
